Congregational Health

Bethany's Congregational Health Ministry seeks to fulfill the vision of wholistic healing-abundant life for all-by partnering with congregations of all denominations and religious affiliations in the Austin, Humboldt Park, North Lawndale, West and East Garfield Park communities.

Through Compassion, our main priority is to address health and wellness issues in the congregations in a faith-based perspective focusing on the whole person, spirit, soul, and body.

By developing relationships with congregations, Bethany will achieve the following objectives:

• Creation of a health ministry committee
• Identify and address needs of the congregations
• Provide a connection with hospital professionals for resources and support
• Develop programs critical to the church body
• Provide information/referrals on community resources
