Welcome to Advocate Health Care Asthma Information Advocate Health Care’s Asthma Program has received the "Gold Seal of Approval" from the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations. 18 million people in the United States have asthma. Additionally, many have symptoms and are not diagnosed. Although asthma cannot be cured, people with asthma can lead full active lives.
